This virtual, live, instructor-led leadership program guides you through
8 workshops, 4 Group Coaching Sessions and 4 Special Projects.
Each 90-minute workshop will be delivered bi-weekly and live, instructor-led to guide you through a proven process to empower you with CONFIDENCE. You will learn, grow and integrate new mindsets, tools and skills that will propel your career forward. And, you will be doing this alongside other leaders with the same objective, creating powerful and valuable connections to add to your network.
The RISE Leadership Program Process

PREPARE
Preparation is the foundation of success. Prepare for the upcoming workshop by investing 10 – 15 minutes conducting the pre-work survey delivered via email the Thursday before your Workshop. You will read a passage, view a video or sometimes just take time for reflection. Then answer a few questions as you prepare to embrace the next lesson's learnings.

LEARN
Each workshop is 90 minutes long. I guide you through lessons, discussions, and exercises as you learn to embrace mindset shifts, improve your skills and practice new tools that you can begin to use immediately at work.

PRACTICE
Practice drives results. At the end of each workshop, you will have the opportunity to write a very specific short term goal of what you will work on over the following two weeks based on the lesson.

INTEGRATE
You will participate in 4 special projects that allow you to integrate all of these new mindsets and best practices into your daily life as well as practice the tools learned along the way.

Workshop #1: Unique & Valuable You
There are key principles all leaders must embrace and practice, that is a given. One key to enjoying a long-lasting career, is being able to understand and succinctly articulate the ‘What’ that makes you unique and valuable; to answer the question, what talents, skills and value am I able to contribute to the organization that I choose.
In this workshop, we will work together to clarify your unique leadership values, identify your unique skills and experience, as well as learn a formula for creating powerful statements. You’ll be able to quickly and succinctly highlight your unique value, which you can share at anytime, anywhere as you pursue the next step in your career.

Workshop #2: Setting Goals the BeSMART Way
Goals set and measured generate results achieved and treasured. Leaders who create specific, and measurable, goals bound by time generate ten times (10x!) more results than leaders who do not.
In this workshop, we use the BeSMART method of establishing goals to propel our careers forward. (Bold, exciting, Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic, & Time-bound).

Workshop #3: Positive Accountability Session 1
Positive Accountability Sessions (PAS) are group coaching sessions designed to support the integration of each lesson into your daily practice. After practicing the mindsets, tools and skillsets for several weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to review your progress, ask questions and receive on-the-spot coaching.
In this PAS, we will be reviewing the lessons from Unique & Valuable You and Setting Goals the BeSMART Way.
Workshop #4: Shifting from Scarcity to Abundance
Do you ever feel like there aren’t enough resources available for you? Promotions and raises are in short supply. There is no room on the leadership team for you. And in March of 2020, you were scrambling for toilet paper, hand sanitizer and your favorite canned products. There are times and areas of our life where we can feel like everything is working against us. Fear of the unknown can keep us in a scarcity mindset.
In this workshop, we will be exploring a 3-step process to shift into abundance for the areas of your life you find yourself in scarcity. In abundance, our fears and anxiety are relieved, and we enjoy the security and confidence of knowing there are more than enough resources for everyone, including you.

Workshop #5: Escaping Your Rock & Hard Place
(aka Getting Unstuck)
We have all experienced that frustration of being stuck between a rock and a hard place. Either you feel like you must choose from two desirable options that seem mutually exclusive or you must choose between two horrible options that you really don’t want. Being stuck is paralyzing, frustrating, and prevents forward progress, not to mention it takes away from achieving your purpose in life.
In this workshop, leaders learn a 4-step process to getting unstuck while exploring a strategy to find the elusive “&” within any stuck situation.

Workshop #6: PAS 2
Positive Accountability Sessions (PAS) are group coaching sessions designed to support the integration of each lesson into your daily practice. After practicing the mindsets, tools and skillsets for several weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to review your progress, ask questions and receive on-the-spot coaching.
In this PAS, we will be reviewing the lessons from Shifting from Scarcity to Abundance and Getting Unstuck.
Workshop #7: Gift of Giving & Receiving Feedback
Imagine someone just asked if you would be open to feedback. How do you feel? It's not always easy to hear feedback. And it can be just as difficult to deliver feedback in a way that is meaningful for others. However, great leaders know that delivering and receiving feedback is the cornerstone of growth for themselves and for those that they lead.
In this workshop, leaders learn and practice the skillful art of giving and receiving feedback in a generous and appreciative way.

Workshop #8: Ruthless Prioritization in a 'Way Too Busy' World
As leaders, we must take ownership, responsibility and accountability for moving our career forward and creating results for our organizations. With the advancements in technology, it seems like our plates are even fuller than they were before. So how do we create results in a world that is consistently challenging us to do more with less?
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to create a superior work product, with less effort and time, by prioritizing and fiercely guarding the “forward-moving” actions on your calendar. You’ll learn how to de-prioritize work that isn’t vital (right now!) and eliminate any non-sense work that is wasting your most valuable resource, your time.

Workshop #9: PAS 3
Positive Accountability Sessions (PAS) are group coaching sessions designed to support the integration of each lesson into your daily practice. After practicing the mindsets, tools and skillsets for several weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to review your progress, ask questions and receive on-the-spot coaching.
In this PAS, we will be reviewing the lessons from The Gift of Feedback and Ruthless Prioritization in a 'Way Too Busy' World.
Workshop #10: Leadership Self-Care
Self-care is a critical responsibility of all leaders, yet it is something many leaders struggle with especially when it comes to workplace stress and anxiety. The biggest stress is often something that starts in the space between our ears and begins to infiltrate the entire body causing sickness and disease.
In this workshop, leaders practice three tools for managing their workplace stress.

Workshop #11: Living an “I’m Enough” Leadership Lifestyle
How you respond to moments of “not enough” define you. Will you succumb to listening to that inner voice, second guessing your value? Or will you choose to RISE above to embrace the value you have to gift to the world.
In this workshop, leaders learn how to get out from under the “not enough” spell to begin living a leadership life of ‘I’m enough’. Leaders learn how to eliminate self-limiting thoughts to create and enjoy a life of abundance, purpose and fulfillment.

Workshop #12: PAS 4

In this PAS, we will be reviewing the lessons from Leadership Self-Care and Living the "I'm Enough" Leadership Lifestyle.
Graduation
Each RISE Leader who completes the program will be invited to participate in the 2023 RISE Graduation Ceremony.
